CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
More than 16 years of experience in the public sector, assuming the senior legal advice and the representation and procedural defence of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.
Experience in all jurisdictions, including accounting and constitutional jurisdiction, with particular expertise in contentious-administrative jurisdiction.
Experience in the drafting of legal reports on draft laws and general provisions and on administrative procedures in all material sectors of regional competence (sanctioning, public procurement, forced expropriation, administrative appeals, ex officio reviews, subsidies, selection processes…). Specialised in urban planning, contracting, property, sanctioning, subsidy, etc. proceedings.
Legal advice to companies in the renewable energy sector and regulated sectors, tourism and real estate.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Urban Planning Law at the University of La Laguna, 2014.
Organiser, speaker and moderator at various conferences related to Administrative Law: Autonomous Ports, Law and Medicine, Public Procurement, Tourism, Services in the Internal Market, Renewable Energies, Environment.
