CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

He is currently the partner of the Public Law, Regulated Sectors and Digital Law Department.

More than 20 years of experience in administrative law, with special dedication to the energy, telecommunications, mining and environmental sectors. Specialist in public sector procurement, administrative procedure, town planning, administrative simplification and e-administration.

He has coordinated the public team in due diligence on restructuring and refinancing operations of public and private sector companies in the areas of subsidies, state aid, licences and authorisations, public registers, sanctioning proceedings.

He is legal advisor to telecommunications companies, energy companies, local and regional councils and public companies and Andalusian public agencies on public procurement, renewable energies, public financing and state aid and administrative organisation. He has coordinated teams in legal audits of public and private companies, in the form of articulation of European funds. He has defended several companies in sanctioning proceedings on environmental and forestry issues, as well as in proceedings on the reimbursement of subsidies, aid and repayable funds.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

He has given numerous training courses on all types of administrative law matters. In particular, he is a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Economic Administrative Law at the IES Cajasol, lecturer on the Diploma in Legal Tech Specialisation and Legal Innovation at the Universidad Loyola Andalucía, as well as being a regular speaker at various conferences and seminars related to Public Law, Urban Planning, the Environment and Renewable Energies.
