Tax updates regarding the Investment Reserve in the Canary Islands (RIC)

The Official State Gazette of 29 July published Law 6/2025 of 28 July, amending Law 19/1994 of 6 July, amending the Economic and Fiscal Regime of the Canary Islands, for the regulation of investments in assets related to the residential letting activity in the Canary Islands. This law approves a new regime for the use of the Canary Islands Investment Reserve (RIC) in the rental of private housing and introduces other significant changes to the reserve regime.
