TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING

In the field of urban planning, we provide advice on the drafting, processing, review and analysis of urban planning, management and execution instruments. We provide support to individuals, companies and public administrations in the negotiation and drafting of town planning agreements and collaboration protocols, as well as in procedures for intervention and protection of urban planning legality (urban planning discipline). We prepare town planning reports on land and real estate assets (detection of contingencies, applicable town planning parameters, changes or implementation of town planning uses, provision of legal-urban planning strategies, among others). We also advise urban development entities (conservation and compensation boards) on their constitution, management and secretariat, as well as minority shareholders. We intervene in expropriation procedures and in real estate transactions involving land, works in progress and completed products (residential, commercial, tourism, industrial, among others). In short, our team offers comprehensive legal assistance, guaranteeing compliance with regulations and the development of projects within the established legal framework.

Scope of services:

  • Negotiation and drafting of urban planning and urban management agreements; advice on the presentation of the initiative in the compensation system, sole proprietor or through a development agent; negotiation and conclusion of the sole proprietor agreement; constitution of compensation boards and urban conservation entities; legal advice and secretariat of compensation boards.
  • Advice on the processing, approval and execution of urban planning and land use planning instruments, both for private individuals as well as public authorities.
  • Drafting of the report on reparcelling projects and overseeing the process until they are registered in the land registry.
  • Intervention in procedures for obtaining land for general/local systems by direct occupation or expropriation.
