CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

She is a specialist in Labour Law and Social Security. She has more than 30 years’ experience in advising local and international commercial entities on employment and social security matters, including restructuring processes, negotiation with the legal representatives of the workers, assistance and defence of the interests of clients before the Labour Courts, the National High Court, the High Courts of Justice, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.

She also provides intermediation services before the Labour Inspectorate, advice on contractual matters, compensation and benefits, stock option plans, employee handbooks, due diligence and post-merger integration processes, among other matters.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Professor of the Postgraduate Course “Labour Forensic Practice” in the Master of Law at CEU Madrid during  years 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Lecturer of the Postgraduate Course “Labour Procedure” in the Master’s Degree in Legal Consultancy at CEU Madrid since 2005.

Lecturer on the Master’s Degree of Access to the Legal Profession at CEU, teaching the subject “Labour Procedure” since 2013.

Lecturer on the Official Master’s Degree in Business Legal Practice at the European University of Madrid in 2007, 2008 and 2009, teaching Labour Law and Labour Procedure.

Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in International Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía from 2010  to 2013.

Lecturer on the Master’s Degree of Access to the Legal Profession at the University of Villanueva, teaching the  subject “Labour Procedure” since 2015.

Speaker at various courses and seminars on matters related to Labour Law and Social Security.

PUBLICATIONS

She has published several specialised articles in relation to Employment and Social Security Law in different media such as Expansión, Cinco Días, El País, Economist & Jurist and La Gaceta de los Negocios, as well as in magazines specialising in Human Resources.

She is included in the lists of Best Lawyers, Legal 500 and Chambers Europe.
