Member of the Special Corps of Public Finance Management, specialising in Management and Settlement and Auxiliary Tax Audit (from 1984 to 1988, currently on leave of absence).

CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

He has extensive experience in estate planning and company mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the Economic and Tax Regime of the Canary Islands and the Canary Islands Special Zone (Z.E.C.).

Experience in transactions involving securities listed on the stock market.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy and Taxation organised by the Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme.

Regular speaker at various conferences and seminars related to the Economic and Tax Regime of the Carnary Islands organised by different public and private organisations (Escuela de Negocios de Tenerife, Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme, Instituto de Fomento Empresarial (IFE), training school “Escuelas de Empresa” (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Universidad de La Laguna, Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, Fundación Fyde CajaCanarias and the Chamber of Commerce of Tenerife and Las Palmas, among others).

Author and contributor to various specialised publications, including “El Impuesto de Sociedades” (Aranzadi, 1996).

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

He teaches regularly on various tax law courses run by the training school “Escuelas de Empresa” (Santa Cruz de Tenerife).

He teaches regularly on the Masters in Corporate Legal Advice and Taxation run by the Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme.

He is a regular speaker at talks given by the Instituto de Fomento Empresarial (IFE).

He has been a speaker at various conferences on tax-related matters, including, in particular, the following:

– First forum on the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC): Legal and Tax Aspects, organised by the University of La Laguna and the Island Council of Tenerife.

– Course on the Canary Islands Special Zone at the Escuela de Negocios of Tenerife.

– “New Legislation on Corporation Tax”, organised by the Fundación Mapfre Guanarteme.

– Practical workshops on the Economic and Tax System of the Canary Islands.

– Workshops on Tax Reforms, organised by the Fundación Fyde/ CajaCanarias.

– Workshops given by the Chamber of Commerce of Tenerife and Las Palmas on the new Economic and Tax System of the Canary Islands.
