Extraordinary End of Degree Award from the University of Malaga.

Supervised Research Period in the Doctorate Programme 2006-2008: 59-06 “Civil Liability in Spanish Law” (Coordinator Dr. José Miguel Rodríguez Tapia – Department of Civil Law, Ecclesiastical Law of the State and Roman Law), obtaining the research sufficiency with the research work “Systems of attribution of civil liability in the field of health”, supervised by Professor Dr. Rocío Diéguez Oliva (Department of Civil Law of the Department of Civil Law, Ecclesiastical Law of the State and Roman Law), awarded a pass with distinction.

Member no. 5653 of the Málaga Bar Association.

Member of the International Association of Port Law.

CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in contentious-administrative proceedings, at all levels, in appeal and in constitutional relief, and in administrative sanctioning proceedings, patrimonial responsibility, review of final acts and drafting of regulations. He has drafted many ordinary administrative appeals and economic-administrative claims.

Lawyer specialising in public domain (coastal, port, hydraulic) and public services (water concessions, solid waste, regular public transport of passengers by road), public sector organisation, public administration property law, public sector contracting and conventional activity (with special mention of the special appeal in contracting matters), as well as subsidies and public aid.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

He has been an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Málaga since 2011 in various subjects of the Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Double Degree in Law and Criminology, Double Degree in Business Administration and Management + Law, and the Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, tutoring more than twenty Final Degree Projects.

He has also been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Law and Procurement (Plan 2023), as a lecturer at the Málaga Bar Association, during the 2023-2024 academic year, teaching the subject “Systems for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Rights”.

He collaborated with the Civil Law Department of the Faculty of Law of the University of Málaga in the subject “Civil Law I: General part of Civil Law. Obligations” (Head: Doctor José Manuel de Torres Perea), in the academic years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. He gave a lecture entitled “Professional aspects of court legal translation and interpreting” as part of the Conference “Professional aspects of sworn legal translation and interpreting in court”, organised by the Department of Interpreting and Translation (English) of the University of Málaga (20-24 September 2010).
