CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Specializing in public law and regulated sectors, mainly in the energy sector and environmental and sustainability issues, and, in general, in the decarbonization process of the economy, the energy transition, and cleantech .

• Experience in energy and climate policy (former advisor to the Secretary of State for Energy at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge), and regulatory frameworks (Spanish and European).
• Comprehensive consulting for the implementation of any energy project (self-consumption, renewable hydrogen and derivatives, geothermal energy, storage, hybridization, biogas and biomethane, photovoltaic, wind, mining, etc.) and also for hybridization, repowering and energy efficiency (e.g., energy efficiency ranking).
• Advice on access and connection to transportation and distribution networks, urban planning, the environment, applications for declarations of public utility, compulsory expropriation, public domain (hydraulic, maritime-terrestrial, forests, roads, livestock trails, highways, etc.), and any other matters.
• Advice and defence in administrative, contentious-administrative, and Constitutional Court appeals.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE 

Speaker at ESADE giving a session on energy and climate objectives at national and European level (the “Fit for 55” package).

PUBLICATIONS 

Preparation of publications related to topics of interest in the sector and regulatory developments.
