She was a candidate preparing Competitive Examinations to enter the Corps of Social Security Lawyers and the Corps of Labour and Social Security Sub-Inspectors (1999-2005).

Member number 4162 of the Bar Association of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Specialised in ongoing employment advice to companies, specifically with regard to all those legal-labour and Social Security issues and aspects that arise in the day-to-day running of Canary Islands’ companies and business groups, multinationals established in the Islands in sectors such as hotels, time-sharing, tour operators, meat industry, construction and real estate development, distribution and logistics, with special emphasis on the following matters:

• Strategic planning of labour relations: employment contracting, remuneration systems and other measures.
• Senior management: design, negotiation and drafting of senior management contracts adapted to the particularities of each case.
• Participation in procedures for non-application of collective agreements, substantial modification of working conditions, collective dismissals and temporary suspension of contracts, intervening in their negotiation and design.
• Assistance in legal proceedings of all kinds before the Social Jurisdiction.
• Participation in operations involving the transfer of companies, work centres or autonomous production units: analysis and advice on their implications and employment effects. Carrying out Due Diligence of legal-labour aspects.
• Drafting of compliance reports.
• Public and private companies, legal-labour and social security aspects.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

She has participated as a speaker in seminars and talks on different aspects related to Employment Law and Social Security, which have given the attendees a preliminary approach to those issues that are most relevant in the current situation of the labour market and which are complemented by the comprehensive advice provided by the firm in coordination with all the departments that make up the firm (conferences for the FYDE foundation; APD Canarias; Los Realejos Town Hall, etc.).

Participation in round table discussions at the V Annual Meeting organised by GEHOCAN in Lanzarote and the VI Annual Meeting organised in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Lecturer at the Collective Bargaining Improvement Forum organised by the Confederación Canaria de Empresarios, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Regular speaker at the Employment Breakfasts organised by GEHOCAN.

Speaker at the talk on labour reform given by the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (March, 2022).

PUBLICATIONS

She has published opinion articles in the press on current labour issues, in the journal Gaveta Económica (Registro de Jornada), local newspaper Diario de Avisos (Necesidad de regulación de la actividad laboral en el deporte base) and regularly participates in the preparation of the firm’s newsletter.
